OUR HISTORY

In the heart of Eswatini, Aaron Master Phiri experienced something extraordinary while doing a routine task with his wife, Emily—washing clothes on 5 March 2020 at 9:38 in the morning. An outline of Africa appeared in the bathtub water, sparking a sense of excitement and curiosity within him.

Capturing the fleeting moment with a quick snapshot, Aaron was left bewildered as the vision vanished before his eyes. Unable to shake off the feeling of significance, Aaron shared his experience with his wife and others at his theology school, but it left them perplexed too.

However, Aaron couldn’t ignore the feeling that this vision was a divine message urging him to make a difference in Africa. Inspired by their time caring for orphaned children in Malawi, Aaron embarked on a mission to start a charity, the Commission to Serve Organisation (CSO).

Registered as a Community-Based Organisation (CBO) in Mzuzu-Malawi, the CSO’s vision extends beyond borders. Their African roots fuel a determination to reach communities across the continent, fulfilling the promise sparked by that remarkable vision in a bathtub.

With the support of friends like Stallone Phiri and countless others who share their passion for helping, the CSO has become a beacon of hope, embodying the values of faith and teamwork. What began as a simple vision has blossomed into a movement dedicated to transforming lives throughout Africa.

Now, we invite you to be a part of this incredible journey. Join the Commission to Serve and be a catalyst for change in Africa. Together, through our collective efforts, even the smallest moments can ignite powerful transformations for the better.
